Hi there, my name’s Jerre.

I’m glad you’re stopping by. This is my humble place on the Web where I share my thoughts on technology, document various smaller projects I work on during my free time or might just share anything that I feel like sharing.

I’m an IT-Professional, currently working for a small MSP as a Platform Engineer, which is fancy-say for Linux-Sysadmin. I like setting up Linux-Systems, small-scale networks and configure them in a simple and comprehensible way. Much of today’s software solutions are overloaded which is why I usually choose software that does one thing and does it well at that, often omitting what is commonly referred to as the “bells and whistles”.

My goal for this Website is to keep it simple. The Internet has become a bloated place in the past 15 years and I think the majority of its content could be conveyed by simpler means.
